All To Play For

Gerrard finals, Zidane’s magic, and becoming Lord of the Manor - with Djibril Cissé

Episode Summary

Former Liverpool and France striker Djibril Cissé joins Tom and Joe to discuss his time at Anfield, which included two of the most famous cup finals in recent memory: the '05 Champions League final against AC Milan in Istanbul and the '06 FA Cup final against West Ham in Cardiff. He also reminisces about being part of the post-1998 French generation of players, as well as discussing Liverpool’s defeat to Man City and their unlikely Premier League title defence. Oh, and he seemed to enjoy playing under Roy Keane, though maybe not as much as he enjoyed becoming Lord of the Manor of Frodsham.
