All To Play For

Invincibility, Goalkeeping and an Invite to Oktoberfest - with Jens Lehmann

Episode Summary

Former Arsenal and Germany goalkeeper Jens Lehmann links up with Tom and Joe to reminisce about one of the finest teams the Premier League has ever seen. Jens joined Arsenal in the summer of 2003 and went onto become a key figure in the title-winning 'Invincibles' side of 03/04. Fondly known as 'Mad Jens,' he recalls the fiercest of football rivalries - Manchester United v Arsenal - and talks us through his memories of 'The Battle of the Buffet' in 2004, which saw the end of Arsenal's record 49-match unbeaten run. He also tells us what he thinks of the current Arsenal setup. Joe's thoughts are that Arsenal could do with not one, but FOUR Jens Lehmanns in the current squad.
